INTRODUCING
WENDY MCDONALD 

Growing up, Wendy had the opportunity to travel anywhere in the world, since her father worked for a major airline. With all this choice, her fondest travel memories remain the carefree summer vacations spent in Florida with her family.

Although Wendy was a dedicated fan of the 1970’s television show, “Love Boat”, serendipity surprised her when she met their star, Gavin MacLeod (Captain Stubing), on her 50th birthday at a Seattle cruise industry conference.

Wendy’s first cruise with her favorite aunt, over 20 years ago, ignited a passion for cruising, which lead her to develop and teach an adult continuing education course called, “Introduction to Cruising.”

While interviewing travel agencies for course content, one agency hired her for her dream job.

Her favorite destinations include the picturesque Greek island of Santorini, ancient Egypt, mythical Turkey and misunderstood Amsterdam.

Wendy’s future travel plans include Japan, Tahiti, New Zealand and Australia.
